Sales Assistant, PRHPS

This role supports a dynamic client sales environment within a leading publishing services organization, acting as a key administrative and coordination point between internal sales teams and external client publishers. You will help ensure smooth communication, accurate reporting, and timely execution of sales materials and promotional activities across multiple publishing partners. The position plays an important role in enabling successful book launches and ongoing market performance by keeping processes organized and stakeholders aligned. You will work closely with sales managers, operations, and digital teams in a fast-paced, collaborative setting. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys structure, detail, and continuous process improvement. The role also offers exposure to well-known publishers and a wide range of book categories. It is well suited for a proactive communicator looking to grow within the publishing and sales operations space.

Accountabilities:
  • Support sales managers with daily administrative tasks and resolution of client publisher inquiries.
  • Maintain seasonal calendars, track deadlines, and ensure timely receipt and distribution of sales materials.
  • Coordinate and facilitate virtual meetings and video conferences using collaboration tools.
  • Communicate regularly with client publishers regarding schedules, deliverables, and key updates.
  • Organize digital promotions between publishers and internal sales representatives.
  • Manage reporting activities, including daily and weekly sales performance reports.
  • Collect, consolidate, and share sales rep feedback to improve publisher collaboration and decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks, multitask effectively, and work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional and adaptable communication style.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable taking initiative in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams); familiarity with WebEx and SAP is a plus.
  • Previous experience in customer support, publishing, bookselling, or administrative coordination is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail with a structured and process-oriented mindset.
  • Interest in publishing, books, and sales operations workflows is highly valued.
