Are you an ERP-driven planning professional with a passion for accuracy and execution? The Paslin team at our Pontiac Plant is seeking a Material Scheduler/Planner to manage BOM integrity, work order creation, and production scheduling within Dynamics AX. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities for this role include:

  • Maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOM) in Dynamics AX, ensuring alignment with physical builds, including part numbers, quantities, and orientation requirements
  • Ensure complete and accurate ERP documentation to support cross-functional execution
  • Classify components by size, geometry, and material to optimize sourcing and production strategies
  • Evaluate make/buy decisions based on capacity, timing, and program requirements
  • Validate and control engineering revision levels to ensure alignment with production
  • Establish and maintain item coverage settings to support uninterrupted material flow
  • Create, release, and manage work orders for fabricated parts, assemblies, and tooling
  • Collaborate with data analytics to develop and maintain production schedules aligned to customer delivery timelines
  • Partner with Project Management and customers to resolve BOM or design discrepancies and minimize production disruptions

Work Environment: This position operates in an office within a manufacturing site environment. This is a safety sensitive role, which includes working around moving equipment and machinery.

Work type & Expected hours of work: Regularly works on-site at local Paslin location. This position is for regular, full-time work and may require coming in early, working late, or working on weekends to meet the needs of the business. Regular work hours are 6am-430pm, M-Th. OT is typically worked on Friday / Saturday during peak project periods.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience: Minimum 5 years in a similar role and related field. Prior manufacturing experience with tool build and automation is a plus.

Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred

Skills: Proficiency with ERP systems (Microsoft AX preferred), strong computer literacy, excellent multitasking, organization, and communication skills.
