Senior Full-Stack Developer

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer in Canada.

This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of engineering, data, and AI-driven product innovation within a fast-paced, mission-oriented environment. You will contribute directly to building and scaling a cloud-based platform that transforms complex healthcare and commercial data into actionable insights for life sciences organizations. Working across the full stack, you will influence both technical architecture and product direction, helping shape what gets built and how it is delivered. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and ML engineers to design end-to-end solutions that solve real-world problems. This is a highly impactful position where your decisions will directly influence platform performance, user experience, and customer outcomes. The environment values ownership, autonomy, and continuous improvement, with strong emphasis on collaboration and technical excellence.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will contribute across the full product lifecycle, from early planning to production delivery, ensuring that engineering perspectives shape both strategy and execution. You will design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack features while working closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.

  • Participate actively in epic planning, sprint scoping, and roadmap discussions, contributing to what gets built and how
  • Own features end-to-end, including requirements breakdown, implementation, testing, and delivery
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to define scope, refine backlog items, and align on priorities
  • Work closely with ML engineering and data teams to integrate data-driven capabilities into product features
  • Build and maintain APIs, services, and user-facing interfaces using modern full-stack technologies
  • Analyze product and user data to guide improvements and optimize feature performance
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to engineering best practices and technical standards
  • Support rapid prototyping and production-grade development within an agile environment
Requirements

The ideal candidate brings strong full-stack engineering experience combined with a product-minded approach and comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-changing environments. You are confident contributing to technical planning discussions and enjoy shaping solutions from concept to delivery.

  • 5+ years of experience in full-stack development with strong hands-on coding expertise
  • Proven experience contributing to epic-level planning and influencing technical scope and delivery timelines
  • Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript, with experience building modern web applications
  • Experience building and maintaining APIs using technologies such as Python, Node.js, Java, or .NET
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, database systems, and third-party integrations
  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
  • Experience in data-driven environments or exposure to analytics is an asset
  • Mentorship mindset with a collaborative, low-ego approach to engineering
Benefits
  • Competitive base salary range of 130,000 to 145,000 CAD
  • Equity and stock option opportunities
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and medical benefits starting on day one
  • Flexible remote-first work environment across Canada and the United States
  • Flexible time off policies to support work-life balance
  • Opportunity to work on AI-driven, high-impact enterprise technology
  • Collaborative, innovation-focused culture with strong engineering ownership
  • Access to meaningful learning and professional development opportunities
