We're seeking a motivated graduate Software Engineer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to build a strong foundation in software engineering while working on meaningful projects that connect people worldwide.

As an Associate Software Engineer at Alianza, you'll work alongside experienced engineers who are passionate about mentorship and knowledge sharing, providing you with a learning path that’s customised to your needs.

What You'll Do

Core Responsibilities:

Develop and debug high-quality code across our diverse tech stackSolve problems in languages suited to different challenges – from systems programming (including Rust, C & C++) to application development (including Java & JavaScript) and scripting and automation (including Python)Work with the latest AI models to dramatically boost what you can achieveCollaborate with senior engineers to accelerate your learningTest software rigorously against requirements and acceptance criteriaTake ownership of increasingly complex tasks with appropriate support

Learning & Development:

Build expertise in our technology stacks and the telecommunications domainReceive mentorship from experienced team membersDevelop understanding of the full software development lifecycle and how to apply AI to enhance resultsGain exposure to cloud-based architecture and scalable, highly-available systems

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related STEM field

We don't require prior software engineering experience – if you're a strong problem solver, we'll help you develop into a great engineer regardless of your starting point. If you do have experience, that will help you to get started faster.
