NetServices (NSI) is an IT services firm with a long-standing reputation for delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions to drive lasting results. Now operating as a subsidiary of Synergy ECP, NSI continues to stand out in a crowded contracting landscape through its agility, strong customer focus, and commitment to retaining exceptional talent. By taking on challenging IT initiatives, we cultivate our talent and are continually evolving through our partnerships with clients. Our close-knot team of highly cleared engineers, analysts, and program managers represent some of the best talent locally available.
As a FrontEnd Developer, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of modern, userfocused web applications that support mission operations. You will build responsive and highperformance interfaces using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, HTML, and CSS, ensuring seamless integration with .NET backend services and AWShosted environments. In this role, you will collaborate closely with UX designers, backend engineers, and product teams to implement clean, maintainable components and deliver intuitive user experiences. You will participate in code reviews, uphold coding standards, troubleshoot UI issues, and support continuous improvements across the application stack. Your technical expertise, problemsolving skills, and attention to detail will play an important role in delivering secure, scalable, and reliable frontend solutions for our customers.
What you’ll do:
• Build responsive, high performance user interfaces using Node.js, React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• Develop modular, maintainable UI components aligned with modern front end engineering practices
• Integrate front end applications with backend .NET services using REST APIs, JSON, and XML
• Implement client-side state management and optimize rendering for scalable, enterprise-grade applications
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers and backend engineers to ensure seamless end-to-end functionality
• Participate in code reviews and enforce standards for readability, quality, and maintainability
• Use Git and GitLab for version control, branching strategies, and merge request workflows
• Ensure front end applications meet accessibility, security, and performance requirements
• Troubleshoot and resolve UI issues across environments and browsers
• Work within AWS cloud-hosted environments and support deployments as part of the overall delivery team
What you’ll need:
• 8 years of software engineering experience
• 3 years of experience developing modern front-end applications using React, Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Hands-on experience building UI components with HTML, CSS, and responsive design techniques
• Experience integrating with REST APIs and working with JSON and XML data formats
• Familiarity with Node.js for development tooling, build processes, or backend integration tasks
• Proficiency with Git and GitLab for source control, versioning, and collaboration
• Ability to work within cloud environments, preferably AWS, as part of a full-stack delivery pipeline
• Strong understanding of front-end performance optimization, browser behavior, and debugging
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly
Bonus points if you have:
• Experience with YAML and CI/CD pipeline development (GitLab CI preferred)
• Exposure to .NET ecosystems and how front-end applications integrate with backend services
• Experience with automated testing frameworks for UI (Jest, React Testing Library)
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (Section 508, WCAG)
• Experience supporting cloud-native architecture in AWS
