Dental Insurance Verification Specialist

We're seeking a Dental Insurance Verification Specialist to join our growing team. This position plays a critical role in supporting our practices by ensuring accurate insurance information, maintaining fee schedules, and helping create a seamless experience for our patients and office teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits prior to appointments
• Review coverage details, frequencies, limitations, waiting periods, and plan exclusions
• Update and maintain insurance fee schedules
• Accurately document benefit information in patient accounts
• Communicate insurance benefits and coverage information to office teams
• Research and resolve insurance discrepancies and coverage questions
• Support offices with insurance-related inquiries and updates

Qualifications

• Dental insurance experience required
• Strong knowledge of leased networks, Medicare Advantage plans, and commercial dental insurance
• Experience with insurance verification and fee schedule maintenance
• Thorough understanding of ADA dental procedure codes and dental terminology
• Ability to confidently navigate a variety of insurance websites and online portals
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and accuracy
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient with dental practice management software (Eaglesoft Preferred)
