Overview
Senior HRIS Analyst Objective
To manage, administer, process, and distribute employee information maintained in the automated HR/Payroll system and in other networked software programs for the Michigan Farm Bureau and its Affiliated Companies and the Management Assistance Program (MAP) companies.
Responsibilities
Senior HRIS Analyst Responsibilities
Administer and maintain the automated HR system for all the Michigan Farm Bureau and its Affiliated Companies and the MAP companies. Analyze system for most efficient use and determine future HR system software needs of the Human Resources Department (HRD).
As system administrator of the HR system, maintain communications between the Human Resources Department and Payroll Services and coordinate upgrades as necessary. Ensure security access to database including database integrity.
Evaluate and analyze workflow of multiple automated HR/Payroll systems to ensure proper timing and accuracy of data input. Problem-solve with other HRD and Payroll staff to determine most efficient and accurate workflow.
Develop, determine, configure, and maintain system hierarchy within the HR system, including user access, security functions, setup and maintenance of data tables, position relationships, pay grades, employment status, reason for termination, etc. Maintain system integrity of information keyed into the system.
Assist HRD and Payroll staff with technical issues related to the HR system by investigating and identifying problems and working on resolution of issues.
Qualifications
Senior HRIS Analyst Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree in business/office administration or related human resources discipline required, or equivalent experience may be considered.
Minimum two to five years office administration and procedures experience.
Experience working with a human resources/payroll software program and software administration required.
Experienced computer usage and proven skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook) and Internet Explorer required.
Mathematical skills required.
Keyboarding skills of 45 wpm with accuracy required.
Preferred
Experience in a human resources environment preferred.
