The Data & AI Senior Technical Delivery Manager will lead the successful execution of complex data and AI transformation programs for enterprise clients across multiple industries.
This role combines technical expertise, delivery leadership, and strategic client engagement to ensure impactful outcomes from large-scale initiatives.
You will oversee multidisciplinary teams, guide delivery excellence, and act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders throughout the program lifecycle.
The position requires a strong understanding of modern data platforms, AI solutions, and cloud technologies, while focusing on business outcomes rather than day-to-day coding.

The Data & AI Senior Technical Delivery Manager will own end-to-end delivery of strategic data and AI programs, ensuring successful execution across teams, technologies, and client stakeholders. This role serves as the connection point between business objectives, technical teams, and executive leadership, driving quality, accountability, and measurable outcomes.

• Lead complex multi-workstream Data & AI programs from initiation through delivery and ongoing operations, managing scope, timelines, budgets, quality, and client outcomes.
• Develop and maintain delivery plans, governance structures, sprint cadences, RAID logs, and executive reporting frameworks.
• Manage risks, dependencies, and change requests while ensuring transparent communication with clients and internal teams.
• Lead distributed teams of engineers, architects, analysts, and consultants across multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Establish delivery standards and promote best practices across documentation, engineering processes, DevOps practices, and technical execution.
• Coach team members, support staffing decisions, and contribute to performance development and team growth.
• Act as the primary point of contact for client executives, data leaders, and business stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into technical strategies while providing clear guidance on feasibility, trade-offs, and delivery expectations.
• Lead executive communications including steering committees, KPI reviews, escalation management, and recovery planning.
• Partner with technical architects to oversee solution quality across modern data platforms, cloud environments, AI/ML solutions, and enterprise architectures.
• Ensure implementation follows strong practices for data modeling, governance, security, cost optimization, and production support.
• Support account growth through opportunity identification, solution shaping, proposals, estimates, staffing plans, and client presentations.
• Contribute to reusable delivery frameworks, accelerators, playbooks, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate is an experienced technology delivery leader with a strong background managing enterprise data and AI initiatives. They combine consulting experience, technical fluency, executive communication skills, and the ability to successfully lead complex programs in fast-moving environments.

• 10+ years of experience in technology delivery, including at least 5 years managing complex data, analytics, or AI programs.
• Professional services or consulting background with experience managing SOWs, utilization, margins, change orders, and client relationships.
• Hands-on experience with modern data platforms such as Snowflake and/or Databricks in production environments.
• Strong understanding of modern data architecture concepts, including lakehouse and warehouse approaches, governance, workload optimization, and platform cost management.
• Familiarity with data ecosystem technologies such as dbt, Airflow, Azure Data Factory, Fivetran, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), and BI tools including Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience leading distributed onshore and offshore engineering and consulting teams.
• Proven ability to engage with executive stakeholders and successfully recover or transform complex programs.
• Strong knowledge of Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies with the ability to adapt approaches based on client needs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with confidence presenting to senior leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in industries such as financial services, retail, CPG, construction, or related enterprise environments is preferred.
• Exposure to AI/ML delivery, GenAI solutions, MLOps practices, or responsible AI frameworks is a plus.
• Prior experience as a data engineer, BI developer, or solution architect is advantageous.
• Relevant certifications such as Databricks, Snowflake, cloud certifications, PMP, or SAFe are preferred.
• Experience with data governance, quality frameworks, privacy, compliance, or regulatory-driven initiatives is beneficial.
• Ability to travel occasionally to client locations as required.
