Job Description
We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated IT Systems Administrator II to join our team. This onsite role is responsible for maintaining, supporting, and improving the organization's IT infrastructure, including Windows servers, network systems, and end-user support. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with strong technical skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Must be able to work effectively and respectfully as there will be interaction with employees from US, Canada, and Mexico.
Essential Responsibilities
· Support End User Devices
· Provide Tier 1 level of support for systems including servers and networks
· Administrate within Active Directory and Entra ID
· Administrate within the company's virtualization environment, including Hyper-V and VMware
· Administration within Microsoft 365, Zoom Phone and Contact Center, and Google Workspace
· Administration within Windows Server
· Assist in Organization Wide projects
· Complete tasks as delegated by a Network or Cyber Security Administrator
· Lead and Manage projects at the local subsidiary where they are located
Systems Administrators need to know how to properly manage the following:
· Active Directory Accounts, Groups, and Organizational Units
· Entra ID Accounts, Groups, and Organizational Units
· Windows Folder Permissions
· Windows Server and Windows Endpoints
· OS X Endpoints
· Linux Endpoints
· UniFi Access Points and Cameras
· Virtual Machines in the VMWare and Hyper-V cluster environments
· Utilization of Hyper-V and Windows Sandbox
· Checkpoint Harmony Endpoint Protection
· Checkpoint Harmony Email & Collaboration
· Ubiquiti UniFi hardware and systems
· Exchange Online
· Microsoft 365
· Windows 365
· Physical Network Equipment and Cables
Certifications
2 or more of the following Certifications:
- CompTIA A+
- CompTIA Network+
- Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- Or other relevant certificates
Desired Education and Experience
· Bachelor's degree and/or Equivalent Experience
· At least 2 years' experience in Windows Systems or Network Administration
