This role sits at the intersection of sales, product, and technology, acting as a trusted technical advisor throughout the pre-sales journey for enterprise nonprofit clients. You will work closely with account executives and cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and translate them into tailored, scalable solutions. The position combines technical depth with consultative storytelling, helping organizations understand how a modern fundraising platform can support mission-driven impact. You will design and deliver compelling product demonstrations, guide solution architecture discussions, and ensure seamless evaluation experiences. This is a high-visibility role where your expertise directly influences deal success, customer confidence, and long-term platform adoption. - Partner with Sales teams throughout the full pre-sales cycle as the primary technical advisor, providing deep product expertise and solution guidance.
- Conduct technical discovery sessions to understand client requirements, integration needs, business objectives, and success criteria.
- Design and deliver tailored product demonstrations and solution proposals aligned with client pain points and operational needs.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-focused narratives for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Develop solution architectures, integration plans, and data mapping strategies across platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Stripe, PayPal, and Zapier.
- Support RFP/RFI processes, ensuring technical accuracy, compliance, and alignment with standards such as PCI DSS and GDPR.
- Collaborate with Product and Solution Architecture teams to share client feedback and influence roadmap enhancements.
- Provide enablement and training to Sales teams, sharing technical insights, best practices, and competitive positioning.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients to ensure a smooth and high-quality evaluation process.
This role requires a strong blend of technical consulting expertise and customer-facing communication skills, ideally within SaaS, fintech, or nonprofit technology environments. You will need to be comfortable operating in complex enterprise sales cycles while translating technical capabilities into clear business value.
- 5+ years of experience in Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering, Technical Consulting, or related roles within SaaS, fintech, or nonprofit technology sectors.
- Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, data integration, system architecture, and cloud-based platforms.
- Experience working with enterprise-level customers and complex sales cycles with significant ARR impact.
- Proven ability to translate technical requirements into scalable solutions and communicate value to executive stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with integrations across CRM and payment systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Stripe, PayPal, and Zapier.
- Familiarity with data privacy and compliance frameworks such as GDPR and PCI DSS.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
- Collaborative mindset with experience working across Sales, Product, and Engineering teams.
- (Preferred) Experience in nonprofit technology or fundraising platforms.
- (Preferred) Experience delivering technical workshops, enablement sessions, or customer training.
- (Preferred) Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Competitive OTE range of $170,000 – $190,000 USD, plus stock options.
- Fully remote role across the US (EST and CST time zones).
