Job Description

The Warehouse Specialist works to support various production departments in the allocation of material in a timely, work cohesively with other warehouse team members to load and unload various trucks and or containers, conduct inventory counts as well as ensure that a safe work environment is observed

Job Duties

• Pull and deliver stock, materials, and supplies to the production floor in a timely manner. During this process, proper rotation of stock is conducted that sees older stock consumed first.
• Receive new inventory and verify items against packing slips, purchase orders, or receiving documents.
• Properly label, store, and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
• Report inventory discrepancies, shortages, damages, or receiving issues to management.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse area. Operation of various pieces of equipment that range from pallet jacks to forklifts is done in a manner that ensures the safety and validity of the building, stock, and team members is observed.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills are required to perform cycle counts and inventory levels.
• Able to lift 50lbs independently.
• Must have good attendance, and punctuality to work is critical
• Able to work in a team environment.
• Clean driving record as the operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment will be utilized.
  • Training and certification will be conducted at the discretion of management.
