You will lead the development and execution of commercial strategies to grow the Proactive Health supplements business across North America, building strong customer partnerships and driving market expansion. You will identify, prioritize, and engage key accounts while shaping tailored go-to-market approaches that align with customer needs and regulatory requirements. You will collaborate across internal teams to translate market insights into actionable innovation and portfolio opportunities. You will manage pipeline development, track performance, and ensure consistent achievement of revenue and growth targets. You will also represent the business externally by strengthening scientific and industry relationships and supporting thought leadership initiatives.

  • Act as the primary commercial lead for the Proactive Health supplements portfolio in the region
  • Develop and execute strategic account and market entry plans for key customers
  • Identify new business opportunities and manage the full sales pipeline
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, regulatory, and scientific teams to align solutions with customer needs
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with supplement brands, distributors, and partners
  • Track performance, manage budgets, and report on regional commercial outcomes
  • Represent the organization at industry events, workshops, and conferences
Requirements

This role requires a strong blend of commercial experience and knowledge of the nutritional supplements or functional ingredients industry. You should bring a proven track record in business development, account management, or technical sales within health, nutrition, or related sectors. A solid understanding of supplement technologies, regulatory frameworks, and market dynamics is essential, along with the ability to translate customer needs into viable commercial solutions. Strong interpersonal skills, entrepreneurial thinking, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, matrixed environment are key to success.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, Nutrition, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 7+ years of experience in supplements, functional ingredients, or nutrition-based sales
  • Strong understanding of supplement technologies, industry regulations, and market trends
  • Proven experience in business development and account growth
  • Ability to build and maintain senior-level customer relationships
  • Strategic mindset with strong execution and project management skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
