Advanced Practice Nurse/Trauma Coordinator
The APN/Trauma Coordinator provides health and medical care in the ED. This position performs comprehensive health assessments and promotes wellness and prevention of illness and injury. The position also develops differential diagnosis, orders and conductd, supervised and interpretd diagnostic and lab tests, and prescribes pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments in the direct management of acute and chronic illness and disease. A master''s degree from a professional school of nursing is required, as is Illinios licensure as an APN. Four years of professional nursing experience, including two years of critical care or emergency nursing in a Trauma Center is required.
