Painter / Punch Technician at Regal Waste LLC – Columbia, South Carolina

Position Summary:
The Painter is responsible for performing interior and exterior painting for apartment homes, common areas, and buildings within a multi-family community. This role ensures units are market-ready and maintained to company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming
• Paint interior walls, ceilings, doors, trim, and exterior surfaces as needed
• Match and mix paint colors to ensure consistency and quality finishes
• Repair drywall, including minor holes, cracks, and surface imperfections
• Complete unit turns within designated timelines to support leasing goals
• Maintain common areas, hallways, and amenity spaces
• Ensure proper use and storage of paints, tools, and equipment
• Follow all safety guidelines and use appropriate protective equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Communicate with maintenance team and management regarding project status
  

Qualifications:

• Previous painting experience, preferably in multi-family or residential settings
• Knowledge of painting techniques, tools, and materials
• Basic drywall repair skills required
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (bending, climbing ladders, standing for extended periods)
