About this opportunity
As the People Operations Team Leader, you will lead the day-to-day delivery of People services across the full employee lifecycle, ensuring consistent, compliant, and high-quality HR operations. This is a hands-on leadership role where youll oversee HR processes, support employee experience initiatives, and drive continuous improvement across systems and workflows while leading a small team of Caregiver Coaches and support staff.
Reporting to the Business Operations Manager, this role will work closely with leaders across the region to support our caregivers and office-based teams, helping to create a positive, compliant and engaged workforce.
Based in our Perth Metro region across our Osborne Park and Clarkson offices (primarily Osborne Park), youll join a collaborative, values-driven team where your leadership and HR expertise will support scalable, consistent, and high-quality people practices.

Key responsibilities
- Lead and support a small team of Caregiver Coaches and support staff, including allocating workload, setting priorities, and coaching for performance
- Oversee HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, employee records, and compliance with legislation and internal policies
- Manage and maintain HR data integrity, reporting, and workforce metrics
- Coordinate recruitment and onboarding processes
- Manage workers compensation and injury management processes
- Drive process improvement initiatives and optimise HR systems
- Support employee experience initiatives including performance reviews and engagement activities
- Act as a key escalation point for employee relations matters
About you
You are an experienced HR professional who thrives on leading teams, improving processes, and delivering high-quality people outcomes. You bring a proactive, solutions-focused mindset and are confident working in a fast-paced environment.
Youll also have:
- Demonstrated experience in HR operations or generalist HR roles
- Strong understanding of employment legislation and compliance requirements
- Proven ability to lead and develop a small team
- Experience managing HR systems, data, and reporting
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
A qualification in Human Resources (or working towards one) will be highly regarded but is not essential.
