Purpose of the role:
To assist the food server in the restaurant to ensure guest satisfaction during all aspects of the dining experience..

Working Conditions:
Works primarily indoors in clean, well-lighted restaurant, some of which are temperature controlled. Exposed to weather conditions en-route to work areas. Makes frequent trips to the kitchen where air may be moist, warm, and odorous from cooking foods. Kitchen floor is uneven and may be slippery from moisture and grease. Works on all surfaces, concrete, wood, rug, and tile. Work areas may be noisy and congested, depending upon size and location of function. Performs work in all areas of extensive facility. Possible exposure to blood borne pathogens
Physical Demands:
Stands/walks short distances throughout shift. Bends, stoops, reaches, pushes and lifts to perform routine tasks. Frequently required to handle and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs. over short distances. Frequent use of stairs, daily.
Terms:
Part Time, Non-Exempt
Non-exempt employees are subject to the wage and hour laws and entitled to overtime pay. All overtime work by a non-exempt employee must be approved in advance by the employee’s supervisor or the General Manager. Non-exempt employees who work overtime without prior approval are subject to disciplinary action, including termination.
