Licensed Practical Nurse II at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

Willis Knighton Health is looking for a bright, energetic LPN to work in a busy family medicine clinic. The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate a strong work ethic, critical thinking and organizational skills, attention to detail, flexibility, dependability and processing and excellent communication skills. The LPN will need to be familiar with family medicine protocols. They will need to be knowledgeable in medication management, vaccines, VIS. They will need to be knowledgeable in vital signs, labs, obtain COVID, strep and flu swabs. Answering and returning phone calls, refills of medication, scheduling of tests and procedures and working closely with insurance companies to obtain pre-authorizations. Hospital and department orientation will be provided upon completion of the hiring process, as well as training on our enterprise-wide management system, including health records. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00pm. An excellent benefit packet is offered.
