Licensed Practical Nurse II at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

We are looking for a bright, energetic medical assistant.to work in a busy Internal Medicine clinic at WKP. They are a busy clinic that provides for the community and other surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate a strong work ethic, critical thinking and organizational skills, attention to detail, flexibility, dependability and processes and excellent communication skills. They will need to be familiar with lab processes, taking an EKG, triaging patients. They will answer and return phone calls, scheduling all tests and procedures, referrals and preauthorizations. Hospital and departmental orientation will be provided upon completion of the hiring process, as well as training on our system-wide enterprise - wide management system. You will work from Monday 8:00 to Friday 5:00 pm.
