The Production Supervisor 2nd shift will oversee the day-to-day leadership and operations of assigned production areas as a member of the front-line supervision team.

What you’ll do as a Production Supervisor:

Ensure a physically and emotionally safe workplace for allIn alignment to the Production plan, ensure proper staffing of both direct and indirect labor to meet production targetsIn alignment to the Production plan, ensure all required materials are timely delivered to production areas to meet operational targetsReview production and operating reports to measure productivity, cost and quality against operational targetsReview production and operating reports results. Provide feedback to management on corrective action plans, contingencies, and countermeasures to optimize department performance, meet KPI’s and financial targetsEnsure sustainability standards and regulatory requirements are met dailyOversee the performance of direct and indirect reports and special project teams in accordance with job expectations, standards specifications and overall operational targetsTimely review team performance on an individual basis with regularly scheduled meetingsProvide timely constructive feedback to direct reports and project teams to ensure output is in accordance with expectationsMaintain positive, collaborative relationships with direct reports and project teams to promote a high level of commitment and engagementSupervise the development of talent of direct reports to ensure proper pipeline of skilled talent for relevant current and future needsSupport the alignment of jobs, activities, tasks, and objectives with broader organizational mission, vision, values and goals of the departmentEncourage and provide an upward path to management team innovative ideas and support projects that drive operational excellenceRemain current in manufacturing technologies that support sustainability and a competitive edge for overall organizational health and growthEnsure line quality metrics are metLead by example, displaying day to day leadership behavior that builds a collaborative, positive culture in support of organizational health and growth Develop and maintain effective functional and cross-functional relationships with internal and external customers and business partners to ensure delivery of key operating indicators Foster commitment through effective communication, continuously building collaborative relationships that promotes engagement throughout the organization

We’re looking for a Production Supervisor with:

Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Management, or related discipline.Three (3) years in a direct supervisory role, overseeing individual contributors and lead production staff in a high-volume manufacturing or printing environmentDirect oversight of hourly teams, including performance managementDemonstrated ability to build and maintain cross functional, collaborative teamsIn depth knowledge and application of Lean manufacturing principlesDemonstrated knowledge of problem-solving techniques/strategiesSuccessful Project Management in both short- and long-term initiativesProduction Reporting at the Operational levelAnalytical problem-solving skillsConflict Resolution SkillsCompetent Computer Skills: MS Office, MRP/ERPSix Sigma a plus

Physical requirements/working conditions:

Our manufacturing Plant is comprised of enclosed office and manufacturing space. This position requires the ability to:

Move throughout the entire facility to attend to various issuesWork effectively in teams across functional groups with strong communication skills and the ability to leadPerform sedentary work on various computer systemsThis position is located on-site in our Dallas facility
