We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Lead Clinical Office Coordinator to support our physicians and ensure the smooth daily operations of our medical office. In this leadership role, you’ll serve as a key connection between clinical and administrative teams—helping deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Position Overview

Reporting to the Practice Manager and working closely with our physicians, the Lead Clinical Office Coordinator plays a vital role in coordinating office operations, supporting clinical workflows, and guiding administrative and clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support physicians with daily clinical and administrative workflow
  • Coordinate and oversee front office and clinical support staff
  • Ensure efficient patient scheduling, intake, and communication processes
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients in person and over the phone
  • Assist in resolving office conflicts and fostering a positive team environment
  • Help maintain compliance with healthcare policies and procedures

Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant program is a plus

Experience

  • At least 1 year of experience in a medical office, healthcare administration, or administrative assistant role required
  • Experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician’s office strongly preferred

Licensure/Certification

  • State certification preferred but not required

Skills & Competencies

  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and general computer applications
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality (HIPAA compliance)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (phone and in-person)
  • Strong customer service mindset with a patient-first approach
  • Ability to professionally manage and resolve workplace conflict
