Motorcycle Technician at Petersons Harley-Davidson of Miami LLC – Miami, Florida

Position Overview
Our Harley-Davidson dealership in North Miami is seeking a skilled and motivated Harley-Davidson Technician to join our Service Department.
This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Harley-Davidson motorcycles to factory standards while delivering a high level of quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and committed to providing exceptional workmanship.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Harley-Davidson motorcycles
• Complete work orders efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
• Conduct routine services including oil changes, tire replacement, and brake work
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using proper tools and procedures
• Follow all factory guidelines and safety standards
• Accurately document repairs and labor time on repair orders
• Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on new motorcycles
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Communicate effectively with Service Advisors regarding repair status and needs
• Stay current with technical training and certifications

Qualifications
• Previous experience as a motorcycle, powersports, or automotive technician preferred
• Harley-Davidson or OEM certifications are a plus
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
• Own tools required
• Valid driver’s license and motorcycle endorsement
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
