• Diagnoses and repairs mechanical problems in small equipment
• Maintains a work area that is clean and safe
• Handles road and service calls as needed

• Accurately complete repair records

• Ability to interpret equipment technical manuals and follow troubleshooting guidelines.

• Follows safe waste disposal procedures
• Provide best estimate repair time on job assignment. Tests mechanical products or equipment before being put back into service.
• Proper use of hand and power tools as necessary.

• Other duties as assigned

Education

• High school or GED accepted

Technical school certification preferred

Experience

• 1 year of mechanical experience with small parts/engines required

Skills & Requirements

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
• Successful Pre-Employment Drug and Agility tests
• Ability to lift 100 LBS or more
• Must be eligible to drive company’s vehicles.
• Successful Background Check
• Requires standing, kneeling, crouching, stooping or crawling, bending, twisting, keeping or regaining balance
• Requires using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls
• Consistent use of Proper Protective Equipment PPE when working on or around equipment parts or components.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision at times and able to work within a specific set of directions. Requires working under deadlines to get the equipment back into service. Requires work with others in a group or team.

• Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including, OSHA, State and Federal regulations.
