Overview
Lutron is seeking a detail-oriented, analytical Trade Operations Specialist to join the Trade Compliance team at our Annex office location in Center Valley, PA. This role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of global import and export activities through data-driven audits, regulatory analysis, and continuous process improvement.
The Trade Operations Specialist will work across multiple regions, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the European Union, to review and validate trade data, support U.S. Customs programs, and partner closely with internal teams and external stakeholders such as customs brokers and freight forwarders. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a highly detail-driven environment, enjoys working with complex data, and takes a proactive approach to solving compliance challenges.
Responsibilities
- Compile, analyze, and prepare data and supporting documentation for U.S. Customs’ Reconciliation Program
- Conduct detailed audits of import activities across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the European Union to ensure accuracy
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support and promote global Trade Compliance initiatives
- Conduct Free Trade Agreement (FTA) eligibility analyses and distribute to customs brokers
- Utilize the ACE portal to retrieve, review, and analyze trade compliance data and reports
- Develop, track, and report key performance metrics to evaluate Customs broker accuracy, timeliness, and overall performance
- Execute Restricted Party Screening to ensure compliance with U.S. export control regulations
- Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure adherence to all applicable trade laws, regulations, and company policies
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree
- Minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.00 GPA
- Minimum 5 years of experience in trade, audit, accounting, or comparable field required
- Proficiency in MS Office required, particularly Excel
