What are the typical hours on the job?
The hours of operation for the Heart Care clinic are Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm. Your primary schedule will be during those hours, with periodic need to work outside your schedule to serve our patients.
What does a Cardiovascular Tech II do?
As a CVT II, you will be responsible for performing skilled technical duties in one or more of the following areas: Non-invasive Stress Lab (Echo and Nuclear), Device Clinic, ABIs (Arterial Brachial Index), and EKG Lab.
What does a typical day on the job look like?
- Competently hooks up Holter and event monitors. Processes transmissions and reports.
- Competently performs EKGs and arterial Brachial Indexes.
- Enrolls patients, schedules device transmissions and processes clinical data and reports.
What are the requirements for the job?
- Associate Degree in Cardiovascular Technology
- Current Cardiovascular Technician certification
- 2 years of experience in a physician’s office setting, preferred.
- BLS and ACLS certification through American Heart Association.
- Basic office skills, patient centered mindset, excellent time management and organization skills; ability to multitask and work in fast paced environment.
