Position Overview:
Ozarks Elder Law is growing, and we’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Case Manager to join our Nixa office.
If you enjoy helping people, thrive in a fast-paced professional environment, and have experience as a Paralegal and/or Case Manager, we’d like to talk with you—especially if you have experience in Estate Planning law. We will provide training and ongoing support for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with client intake and document collection
- Draft client Estate documents.
- Draft correspondence, simple legal documents, and memos
- Organize and maintain case files and digital records
- Observe client meetings, court hearings, or estate planning signings (as appropriate)
- Support the team with general administrative tasks and projects
Preferred Skills:
- Para Legal or Case Manager experience
- Basic knowledge of legal terminology and processes in estate and probate matters
- Compassionate and patient demeanor, especially when interacting with elderly clients or
- grieving families
- Strong interest in Elder Law, Estate Planning, or Probate
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel); familiarity with legal
- We use a software platform called Practice Master and experience in that platform is a plus
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn in a team environment
