IT Specialist at Harborview Center, LLC – Long Beach, California

Position Description:

Are you a problem-solver who loves helping people with technology?

We’re looking for an IT Specialist to keep our organization running smoothly by providing front-line technical support, maintaining systems, and ensuring our hardware, software, and networks operate at peak performance. This is a hands-on role where you’ll troubleshoot, train, and support end-users while also helping strengthen our IT infrastructure.

What You’ll Do

Provide first-line support to end-users, quickly resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues.

Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.

Troubleshoot operating systems, software applications, and network performance.

Collaborate with IT team members to resolve escalated or complex issues.

Perform system upgrades and ensure compatibility with existing infrastructure.

Assist in implementing security measures to protect against breaches and malware.

Configure and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, and access points.

Maintain accurate records of IT inventory, including hardware and software licenses.

Conduct user training sessions on IT best practices and procedures.

Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends.

What We’re Looking For

Education & Training

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred)

Experience

2+ years of IT support experience (preferred)

Licenses/Certifications

CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional, or similar certifications (preferred)
