Custodian at Lake Land College – Mattoon, Illinois

Perform a wide variety of cleaning functions and setups.
Essential Job Functions:

1. Cleaning.
2. Carpet care.
3. Floor care stripping and waxing.
4. Chemical application.
5. Trash removal/recycling.
6. Other related duties as assigned.

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum two (2) years experience preferred. Valid class D driver's license required.

Knowledge:

• General knowledge of custodial work with ability to make decisions. Ability to read and follow custodial supply label instructions and Material Safety Data Sheets and the ability to properly mix cleaning chemicals at the recommended dilution levels is mandatory.

Skills:

• Ability to use custodial equipment.

Personal Requirements:

• Ability to work with others with minimum supervision.
