Full-time Kelley Buick GMC Sales Porter in FORT WAYNE, Indiana at Kelley Automotive Group LLC

Department: Sales

Functions: Monitor inventory and lot. Clean and detail vehicles.

Relationships: Reports to Sales Manager, General Manager and Inventory Coordinator

Responsibilities and Authority:

• Clean interior and exterior of all vehicles, including the engine compartments
• Help to maintain all tools and equipment used
• Verify serial numbers of incoming vehicles
• Park vehicles in the lot in an orderly manner
• Catalog and store keys for cars in inventory
• Remove snow from vehicles
• Following a sale, re-park the vehicles on the lot to maximize use of space
• Maintain the appearance of the lot and property in and around the facility
• Any other tasks deemed necessary by the manager

Qualifications:

Able to read and comprehend instructions and information. High School diploma or the equivalent. Computer knowledge preferred. Professional personal appearance. Valid driver’s license and a good driving record required. Able to lift 25lbs repeatedly. Must be at least 21 years or older.

Working Conditions:

Will spend time outdoors on the lot year round. Will have personal interaction with customers. Weekend and/or holiday hours may be required. Required to stand, stoop, lift, push, pull, kneel, crouch and reach repeatedly during the shift. Will interact responsibly with hazardous materials. Will be exposed to noise, dust, fumes and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials during shift.
