About This Position
Under the direction of the Operations Supervisor, this position is accountable for the stocking, equipping, cleaning, and issuing of units to crews in preparation for field shifts. This position will interact throughout TRAA internally and with various entities externally.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prompt and regular attendance at work.
- Responsible for complying with all local, state, and federal laws (i.e., state and county inventory levels, HIPPA, and OSHA).
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures (i.e., sop’s, environmental audits, unit reviews, etc.).
- Oversee all record keeping of unit assignment, quality assurance programs and all other data collection pertinent to the department.
- Maintain records of truck condition before and after each use. Report and log violations and discrepancies. Accurately complete the TRAA Equipment Receipt
- Recover, clean, and prepare exchange item equipment from hospitals.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment (including biohazard maintenance)
- Inventory all supplies to maintain par levels for ambulance stock requirements. Distinguish order requisitions between TRAA and supply vendors.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with all levels of staff and personnel to ensure maximum communication and cooperation in addition to being responsive to field personnel issues.
- Participate in departmental and company meetings as required.
- Liaison and work with all other departments to ensure continuity of daily operations.
- Performs other such duties as may be required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year minimum experience with Re-Supply Department
- Valid Driver’s License
- Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
- May be required to sit; climb or balance; step, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Regularly required to use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms.
