This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of a fast-scaling global organization operating in a fully remote environment. As part of the Finance team, you will oversee critical cost controlling, reconciliation, and reporting activities that directly support financial accuracy and operational efficiency. The position focuses on preventing revenue leakage, improving billing accuracy, and enhancing finance workflows through automation and process optimization. You will collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, and Accounts Receivable teams while supporting strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects. This role combines analytical problem-solving, operational rigor, and process improvement in a dynamic international setting. It is ideal for a finance professional who thrives in high-growth environments and enjoys transforming complex financial data into actionable insights. You will play a key role in strengthening scalable finance operations that support continued global expansion.

Accountabilities:
  • Own and manage monthly cost reconciliation processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with billing operations while minimizing revenue leakage risks.
  • Partner closely with Accounts Receivable and Finance teams to support timely and accurate customer invoicing and resolve billing-related discrepancies.
  • Perform monthly Gross vs. Contra reconciliations and maintain high standards of financial reporting accuracy and compliance.
  • Investigate and resolve complex cost variances and reconciliation issues in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Support month-end closing activities, including accrual management and reporting processes, while ensuring adherence to financial controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to automate, streamline, and scale finance operations workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual processes.
  • Lead or contribute to cross-functional projects aimed at improving operational performance, financial processes, and reporting capabilities.
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses, scenario modeling, and operational reviews to support strategic decision-making and identify business risks and opportunities.
  • Build strong collaborative relationships across Finance, Operations, and other departments to ensure effective communication and operational alignment.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in Finance Operations, Financial Analysis, FP&A, Controlling, Financial Reporting, or related finance functions.
  • Strong expertise in reconciliations, cost management, operational finance, and financial reporting processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets with strong analytical and data manipulation capabilities.
  • Experience working with ERP and financial systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across international teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced, high-growth, and globally distributed environments.
  • Experience driving process improvements, automation initiatives, or systems integration projects within finance operations.
  • Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Payroll finance, project management, multinational environment experience, or exposure to BI/data visualization tools is considered a plus.
