Earn & Learn to become a Nurse Aide with FREE Nurse Aide Training on Oahu!

The Position:
We're looking for passionate Nurse Aides (NA) to help us with providing nursing care and services to residents, that include personal and restorative care and activities of daily living.
- Ohana Nurse Aides orient residents to the unit and facility: Bathroom, call system, shower schedule, activity calendar, and lanai/common areas; informs of meal schedule and snack times.
- Nurse Aides respond to resident calls, call bells/lights, and alarms immediately. Responds to family requests. Informs Charge Nurse when required.
Free Course Instruction with Full-time or Part-Time Employment:
- Course schedule to commence August 24, 2026- October 17, 2026
- Class schedule: Tuesday & Thursday, 4:30pm-8:30pm.
- Duration: 8-week program with in-person instruction.
- Location: Waipahu YMCA, Waipahu, Hawaii.
- Course instruction provided by Academy for Healthcare Innovation
- Work as a Care Assistant concurrently with Nurse Aide Training Program
- Promotion to Nurse/CNA following program completion
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum age 18 by end of Nurse Aide Training Program.
- Completion of Hawaii Nurse Aide Training Program.
- Scheduled Prometric exam within 120 days of hire
