Job Description
We are an American company providing design and manufacture of terminal repair tools and wire routing board fixtures and indicators for the wire harness industry. We specialize in custom prototyping and small production runs.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for maintaining excellence, this position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to our company’s success.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Perform visual, dimensional, and functional tests using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Document inspection results accurately and report any non-conformances or deviations.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain inspection records and assist in preparing quality reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inspection processes and product quality.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in quality assurance or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Inspector or similar role in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong understanding of quality control procedures, inspection techniques, and measurement tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong observational skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) is advantageous.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
