What you'll do

1. Lead and supervise commercial HVAC retrofit crews.
2. Assign daily tasks and coordinate manpower, materials, tools, and equipment.
3. Oversee HVAC unit replacements, ductwork, VAV boxes, and exhaust fans.
4. Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and project specifications.
5. Ensure work is completed safely, correctly, and according to project requirements.
6. Coordinate with Project Managers, subcontractors, customers, and other trades.
7. Monitor project progress and communicate jobsite issues or delays.
8. Inspect completed work for quality and proper installation.
9. Maintain a clean and organized jobsite.
10. Enforce company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
11. Train and mentor crew members and provide field direction.
12. Complete basic daily jobsite documentation and progress updates.
13. Travel outside the Orlando area as required.

What we're looking for:

1. 5+ years of commercial HVAC experience, preferably with retrofit/replacement projects.
2. Previous experience as a Foreman, Lead Technician, or Lead Installer.
3. Proven experience leading HVAC crews.
4. Hands-on experience with:
5. Commercial HVAC unit replacements
6. Ductwork installation/modification
7. VAV boxes
8. Exhaust fans
9. Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings.
10. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
11. Knowledge of commercial HVAC installation practices and safety requirements.
12. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
13. EPA and/or OSHA certifications are a plus.
