JOB SUMMARY
Provides support and resolution of support requests. Support for installs of new server and data infrastructure, firmware, software releases and security updates and application patches. Assist in the resolution of hardware and software related problems in the infrastructure. Assist in monitoring and performing system backups and recovery. Monitoring server and data infrastructure availability. Participates in projects such as system installation and upgrades as assigned. Works under direct supervision.

EDUCATION/TRAINING:
Associates degree in a field related to computer hardware, software, or information systems
Preferred IT related professional certifications such as but not limited to:
o CompTIA A+
o CompTIA Network+
o CompTIA Linux+
o CompTIA Security+
o Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP)
o MTA: IT Infrastructure
o MCSA: Windows Server
o Microsoft's Certified Systems Engineers (MCSE)
o Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS)
o VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
o Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
o Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP)
EXPERIENCE:
Knowledge & Experience
Two (2) years of directly related work experience in:
o Direct related administration experience with Microsoft 2008 and above server operating systems and Windows 7 and above workstation operating systems in a corporate domain environment.
o Active Directory group policy
o Knowledge of core Microsoft technologies/implementations to include Active Directory Domain Services, Domain Name Services, and Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol.
Experience VMWare ESX.
Experience with Linux or Unix operating systems.
Experience using Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 Exchange environments.

Must be able to pass BCI, FBI, and UCJIS background check.

Pay Rate: $27.84 per hour or more depending on experience
