As a Maintenance Mechanic, a typical day might include the following:

• Performing scheduled compliance inspections and completing repairs as needed throughout the facility.
• Conducting preventative maintenance activities to ensure building systems remain safe and operational.
• Responding to patient-related concerns and other maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Inspecting the environment of care and identifying potential safety hazards before they become issues.
• Supporting life safety initiatives, including fire boundary inspections and preventative maintenance of firefighting equipment.
• Utilizing work request systems to document tasks, maintain records, and track completed work.
• Coordinating and overseeing outside contractors to ensure work is completed safely and in accordance with organizational standards.
• Contributing to a safe, comfortable, and healing environment for patients, visitors, and team members.

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have a High School Diploma, GED, or trade school equivalent and a minimum of three years of experience in hospital or industrial maintenance or construction. A valid New Jersey Driver's License is required. This a Full-Time Evening position, 12pm-8:30pm, Wednesday - Sunday.
