Job Summary:
The Vice President of Sales & Marketing is responsible for the strategic leadership, direction, and performance of Weber Knapp’s global sales and marketing functions. This executive oversees all revenue-generating activities, including direct sales, channel partner relationships, business development, and market expansion initiatives. The Vice President serves as a key member of the executive team, collaborating closely with Operations, Engineering, and Finance to align customer needs with Weber Knapp’s manufacturing capabilities and long-term growth strategy. This role ensures the organization maintains strong customer relationships, executes a disciplined go-to-market strategy, and drives profitable, sustainable revenue growth across all product lines.
Essential Job Duties/ Responsibilities:
Sales and Leadership & Revenue Growth
· Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with Weber Knapp’s long-term business objectives.
· Lead, mentor, and manage the sales organization, including direct sales, account management, and business development teams.
· Establish and monitor key performance metrics to ensure consistent achievement of revenue, margin, and growth targets.
· Identify new market opportunities, emerging customer needs, and competitive threats to inform strategic decision-making.
· Partner with Operations and Engineering to ensure accurate forecasting, capacity planning, and customer satisfaction.
Channel Partner & Distributor Management
· Oversee all channel partner, distributor, and independent rep relationships to ensure alignment with Weber Knapp’s brand, service expectations, and revenue growth.
· Develop and maintain a structured channel partner program, including performance standards, incentives, and accountability measures.
· Conduct regular business reviews with channel partners to evaluate performance, identify opportunities, and resolve challenges.
· Expand and strengthen the channel network in strategic markets to support long-term growth.
Marketing Strategy & Brand Development
· Lead the development and execution of Weber Knapp’s marketing strategy, including brand positioning, digital marketing, product marketing, and communications.
· Oversee creation of marketing materials, campaigns, and tools that support sales effectiveness and market visibility.
· Ensure consistent brand messaging across all customer touchpoints, trade shows, digital platforms, and partner communications.
· Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive data to guide product positioning and promotional strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Strategic Leadership

· Implement standardized sales processes, CRM utilization, and reporting tools to improve visibility and efficiency.
· Ensure accurate and timely sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance reporting.
· Drive continuous improvement in sales operations, customer onboarding, and service delivery.
· Establish and maintain policies and procedures that support scalable, disciplined growth.
Requirements:Education & Work Experience Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related field.
· MBA or advanced degree preferred.
· Minimum 10 years of progressive sales leadership experience, ideally within manufacturing, engineered products, or industrial markets.
· Demonstrated success managing channel partners, distributors, and independent reps.
· Proven track record of driving revenue growth, developing high-performing teams, and executing strategic sales plans.
· Strong financial acumen, including forecasting, pricing strategy, and margin management.
· Experience of collaborating with engineering and operations team in a technical or manufacturing environment.
Working Environment:
· In-person office environment with regular travel to customer sites, channel partner locations, trade shows, and industry events.
· Nights and weekends as needed based on business needs and customer demands.
· 50% travel is required for the role.
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to sit at a desk for extended periods of time.
· Must be able to move throughout the day, including standing, walking, bending, stooping, and climbing stairs.
· Must be able to lift materials weighing up to 15 pounds.
· Must possess sight/hearing senses or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately so the requirements of the position can be fully met.
· Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stresses of the position.
