Job Description
Patriot Group International, LLC (PGI) has a current full-time, exempt employee opening for a Human Resources / Operations Generalist located in our Aurora, Colorado office. This position reports to the Cluster Account Manager(s) (CAM’s) and the Director of Human Resources (DHR). Some travel is required to the additional Phoenix, AZ office.
The Human Resources / Operations Generalist will be primarily responsible for all human resources functions as well as assisting in the coordination of security operations management, including but not limited to onboarding new staff, training coordination, logistics, procurement, and other miscellaneous tasks.
The Human Resources / Operations Generalist will be responsible for the following:
- Assists the DHR with maintaining HR records, compliance postings, I-9/E-Verify requirements, benefits communication, and employee documentation
- Supports recruiting, pre-employment screening, onboarding, annual training, and new hire processing
- Maintains employee files, certifications, HR documents, and company records in compliance with company policies
- Assists with employment verifications, background investigations, payroll processing, and staff timesheet support
- Supports operational reporting, business processes, equipment coordination, and logistics activities
- Performs general office administration duties, including answering phones, greeting guests, ordering supplies, and coordinating office maintenance
- Communicates with employees and management to ensure the timely completion of HR and operational requirements
- Performs additional duties as assigned by the CAM’s and DHR
Required Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of HR Generalist experience in a fast-paced operational environment, including recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, and personnel support
- Excellent communication, customer service, organizational, and time management skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask, work independently under pressure, maintain confidentiality, and exercise professionalism, integrity, and discretion
- Strong problem-solving and research skills with the ability to interpret written instructions, policies, and employment-related information
- Proficient in operating in a dynamic, fast-changing environment and collaborating with staff to resolve issues and support mission-critical operations
- Must be able to work onsite up to 5 days per week with minimal supervision and travel to the Phoenix, AZ area up to 10% of the time
- High School diploma or GED required
- Must be at least 21 years of age, a U.S. Citizen, possess reliable transportation, and successfully pass pre-employment and random drug screenings and a background check
- Demonstrated commitment to professionalism, ethical standards, and fostering a diverse workplace
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Proficient in Microsoft products and Smartsheets
Applicant must be able to complete the following tasks:
- Able to lift up to 20 pounds.
- Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time, sitting at a desk and working at a computer
- Must be able to use standard office equipment, including a telephone, keyboard, computer, and copier/fax
- Must possess the ability to effectively multitask, transition between duties, and resume interrupted tasks with accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment
