Job Description

Job Summary
As a Project Administrator, you will be an integral part of the Program Management Office (PMO) and Advanced Development team. You will administratively support a portfolio of new product development projects through planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and reporting by applying Agile project management methodologies.
Essential Job Functions
• Work with the PMO to maintain alignment with overall strategic product roadmaps, including authorized projects within the portfolio as well as forecasted new initiatives.
• Maintain ownership of the resource capacity planning and reporting process for the portfolio of projects within the strategic roadmap.
• Engage in the administrative process of launching new projects.
• Work with the team of Project/Program Managers to ensure consistency, accuracy, and tracking of product backlog assignments, ensuring total alignment with portfolio project plans.
• Support formal project reviews, including the preparation and presentation of project cost status and subcontracted work.
• Own the project quad charts used in slide decks for project review meetings, ensuring they conform to process standards and are professional, consistent, and complete.
• Partner with Project/Program Managers to ensure project folders are organized and maintain a consistent structure.
• Coordinate the "small victories" process with all stakeholders as an internal work progress reporting and strategic alignment methodology.
• Support project managers in auditing work stories to ensure evidence meets the designated "definition of done."
• Support project managers in the creation of project plans, with a particular emphasis on standardized product backlog creation.
• Support project managers to ensure all work products defined by the Product Lifecycle (PLC) model are prepared, peer-reviewed, and presented at all formal development gate reviews.
Education and Work Experience Requirements
• Associate’s degree, preferably in Engineering or a technical field.
• Knowledge of and experience with fundamental project management methodologies.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to administratively support, coordinate, and collaborate on customer visits and customer reviews.
• Experience supporting various formal and informal meetings, including capturing actionable items.
• Proven ability to work with a wide range of individuals up to the executive level.
• Ability to strictly follow Product Lifecycle (PLC) models.
• Solid MS PowerPoint skills.
• Ability to take true ownership of the function and remain accountable for outputs.
• Demonstrated experience with Agile values and principles is helpful.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
