  • Coordinate and execute annual compensation cycles, including salary reviews, variable pay programs, and related communications and reporting processes.
  • Evaluate and enhance employee group benefits programs to ensure competitiveness, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with workforce well-being objectives.
  • Manage relationships with benefits providers and support annual renewals, open enrollment activities, and escalated benefits issues.
  • Collaborate with HRIS and cross-functional teams to optimize compensation and benefits systems, including Workday functionality and reporting tools.
  • Develop training materials, policies, metrics, and reporting dashboards to support effective total rewards management and decision-making.
  • Lead compensation and benefits-related projects, ensuring compliance with applicable employment legislation and organizational governance standards.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Approximately 7 years of experience in compensation and benefits program design, implementation, and administration.
  • Strong expertise in job evaluation, salary benchmarking, compensation analysis, and cyclical total rewards processes.
  • Solid understanding of employee benefits programs, market competitiveness analysis, and total rewards best practices.
  • Experience working with HRIS platforms, preferably Workday.
  • Advanced analytical and numerical skills, including strong proficiency with Excel and compensation data analysis.
  • Knowledge of employment legislation and regulatory frameworks relevant to Ontario and Quebec.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all organizational levels.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities in fast-paced environments.
  • Professional certifications such as CHRP/L, CCP, CEBS, or CBP are considered strong assets.
  • Bilingualism in English and French is considered an asset.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary package ranging from CAD $85,500 to $114,400.
  • Fully remote work environment within Ontario or Quebec.
  • Paid time off during the contract period.
  • Comprehensive health and dental benefits coverage.
  • Opportunity to contribute to strategic HR and total rewards initiatives.
  • Collaborative and inclusive workplace culture focused on employee well-being and development.
  • Exposure to modern HR technologies and transformation initiatives.
