Job Title: Dishwasher

Starting From: $19-$21/hour plus tips! (Depending on Experience)

Dishwasher Roles and Responsibilities:

• Operate the industrial dishwasher
• Wash glassware and other implements by hand when necessary
• Empty and clean all trash receptacles
• Rotate dishes to reduce wear and tear on resources
• Clean dish storage
• Follow sanitation policies at all times
• Provide assistance to prep cook and other kitchen staff as needed, especially during peak times
• Clean up spills or broken glassware immediately
• Report any sanitation or janitorial issues to the appropriate party
• Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas
• Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately
• Set up workstations before meal prep begins
• Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours.
• Notify the supervisor when small wares are getting low.
• Maintain cleaning supplies stock (e.g. detergents) and place orders when necessary (with supervisor’s approval)
• Check washing machines’ operation and promptly report any technical/performance issues
• Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor, occasionally restroom deep cleaning
• Perform opening, closing and side work
• Perform any additional tasks as assigned by Managers

Qualifications:

• Food Handler Card Training Offered with paid training hours if needed
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
