Must be able to drive within 50 mile radius of Stillwater

Paid mileage
-
Weekend rotation and on call responsibility as needed

JOB SUMMARY:
A clinically competent licensed practical nurse who delivers nursing care to patients at their place of residence under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Performs IV skills according to policy and procedure. Makes daily home visits with personal vehicle within 50-mile radius of Stillwater.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Licensed to practice in the state of Oklahoma.
-
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
-
Recommended by Nurse Manager for position.
-
Minimum of 1-year of experience.
-
Home telephone and dependable transportation required.
-
Current CPR card (BLS) or completion of course within 30 days of hire.

Having and maintaining a valid Oklahoma Driver’s License and satisfactory driving record is a condition of employment. Automobile liability insurance required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
-
Must have strength and stamina for prolonged walking, standing, and dealing with stressful situations.
-
Demonstrates adequate vision, or correctable with glasses, to read and write.
-
Able to hear, or correctable with hearing devices, and able to talk to converse with others in person and over the phone.
-
Able to hear, see, and feel to accurately assess, monitor, and administer care.
-
Able to frequently lift at least 60 lbs., reach, pull, push, bend, stoop, and kneel.
-
Possess fine motor skills and hand/eye coordination to give care (i.e.: insert catheters, start IVs, administer medications, and handle instruments).
-
Able to work in a latex-burdened environment.
