This is a high-impact product role focused on launching and scaling a new subscription experience within a fast-growing consumer fintech platform.
You’ll take ownership of the core customer journey, from signup and account setup through ongoing engagement and retention.
The role offers a true zero-to-one opportunity, with responsibility spanning initial product development, launch readiness, and post-launch growth.
You’ll work closely with Engineering to make thoughtful product decisions and ensure strong execution against ambitious milestones.

The position requires close collaboration across Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Customer Operations to create scalable and trusted financial experiences.
This is an ideal opportunity for an autonomous product builder who thrives in fast-moving environments and enjoys balancing customer needs, commercial outcomes, and technical complexity.

Accountabilities
  • Own the subscription experience: Lead the development of the customer-facing journey, including signup, account setup, subscription management, and ongoing account interactions.
  • Build engagement and retention mechanics: Design, launch, test, and continuously improve features and experiences that drive customer engagement, retention, and long-term subscription value.
  • Drive zero-to-one product development: Take the subscription initiative from initial build through external launch and into sustained growth and market adoption.
  • Partner closely with Engineering: Work collaboratively with engineering teams to make informed product decisions, define priorities, resolve trade-offs, and ensure high-quality execution.
  • Lead launch readiness: Establish and manage key development, testing, operational-readiness, and launch milestones to ensure a successful external rollout.
  • Optimize post-launch performance: Use product insights and customer behavior to improve conversion, retention, segmentation, and overall subscription performance.
  • Support growth and go-to-market strategy: Partner with relevant teams on acquisition channels, conversion strategies, retention initiatives, and opportunities to expand the subscription offering.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Customer Operations, Marketing, and other stakeholders to ensure new experiences are clear, compliant, customer-friendly, and operationally scalable.
  • Balance competing priorities: Make pragmatic product decisions that account for customer experience, business impact, regulatory considerations, and technical complexity.
  • Operate with ownership: Identify opportunities, proactively solve problems, and drive initiatives from concept through execution without requiring extensive oversight.
Requirements
  • Product management experience: 3–7 years of product management experience, ideally with a strong focus on consumer-facing products.
  • Subscription expertise: Direct experience building or managing subscription products, including acquisition, engagement, retention, and lifecycle mechanics.
  • Fintech background: Experience working with financial or fintech products at meaningful scale and an understanding of the considerations involved in consumer financial services.
  • Startup experience: Demonstrated ability to independently ship products and make decisions in a startup or smaller-scale, high-growth environment.
  • Strong product judgment: Ability to balance customer needs, commercial objectives, regulatory requirements, operational considerations, and technical constraints.
  • Execution-oriented mindset: Proven ability to move quickly from strategy to execution, manage milestones, and deliver products in ambiguous or evolving environments.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Comfortable partnering with Engineering, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Customer Operations, and other stakeholders.
  • Ownership and initiative: Highly proactive, accountable, and comfortable identifying what needs to be done and driving it forward.
  • Communication skills: Able to clearly articulate product decisions, priorities, trade-offs, and recommendations to diverse stakeholders.
  • Builder mentality: Thrive in a high-velocity environment where teams are expected to execute with urgency, adaptability, and low ego.
Benefits
  • Competitive compensation: $160,000–$180,000 base salary, plus stock options.
  • Health benefits: Health coverage available from Day 1.
  • Retirement savings: 401(k) plan with company match.
  • Remote work: US-based remote-friendly working environment.
  • Flexible time off: Flexible time off (FTO) to support work-life balance.
  • Growth opportunities: Opportunities for professional and career development within a high-growth organization.
  • Mission-driven culture: Work on products designed to make financial services more accessible and useful for millions of consumers.
  • Inclusive environment: A collaborative workplace that values diverse perspectives, experiences, and backgrounds.
