Job Description

Lehigh University

Lehigh University is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of age, color, disability, gender, gender identity, genetic information, marital status, national or ethnic origin, race, religion, sexual orientation, or veteran status. Lehigh University provides comprehensive benefits including partner benefits.

Lehigh University's Division of Student Affairs is home to programs that shape the undergraduate experience in meaningful ways — and the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Affairs is no exception. If you're a detail-oriented administrative professional who finds genuine satisfaction in keeping a busy, people-centered office running smoothly, this full-time Coordinator role offers the chance to do exactly that within one of Lehigh's most active student communities. Reporting to the Assistant Dean and Director of Fraternity and Sorority Affairs, you'll be the operational backbone of an office that supports dozens of chapters and hundreds of students.

Position Number: S77590

This position is a Grade: 7 - 37.5 with an approximate salary range of $37,190-$44,640 and is subject to change based on experience, skills and qualifications.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Managing office workflows, scheduling, correspondence, and records to keep the team focused and organized
  • Coordinating logistics for programs, events, and chapter-related activities across the academic year
  • Maintaining accurate databases, tracking compliance documentation, and preparing reports for leadership
  • Serving as a first point of contact for students, chapter advisors, and campus partners, providing responsive and knowledgeable support
  • Tracking chapter and student account balances and flagging discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Executing registration processes for chapters, members, and associated programs throughout the year
  • Updating and maintaining the office website to ensure content is current and accessible to students and stakeholders
  • Supporting educational initiatives and community programming that advance the goals of the fraternity and sorority community

What You Bring

  • Associate's degree or higher, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Three to five years of work related experience
  • Proven experience in administrative coordination or office management, ideally within higher education or a comparable environment
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage competing priorities without dropping the detail
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills suited to a student-facing setting
  • Demonstrated customer service skills, including the ability to respond professionally and promptly to phone calls, emails, and walk-in enquiries from a range of constituents including students, parents, alumni, and community members
  • Proficiency with standard office and database software; comfort learning university-specific systems at Lehigh
  • A collaborative, service-oriented approach that reflects Lehigh's commitment to student success and community integrity
