Accounts Payable in Scott Depot, West Virginia at Womencare Inc.

FamilyCare Health Centers is looking for a Temporary to potential hire Accounts Payable Position in Our Teays Valley Office.

Reports To: Accounting Supervisor

Positions Classification: Non-Exempt

Work Location: Teays Valley Office

Physical Requirements: The employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent. Proficient in Microsoft Office Products, telephone and computer skills. Knowledge of Accounts Payable process.

Basic Function: The employee will process accounts payable invoices according to FamilyCare guidelines. The employee is responsible for receiving, tracking, and entering all invoices into the accounts payable module in the Dynamics accounting system.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Processes A/P (coding, matching packing slips, and data entry).
2. Processes weekly check runs.
3. Filing A/P.
4. Serves as a back up for the Staff Accountant for the following duties:
   • Sorting of daily mail and distributing to the proper departments.
   • Daily bank deposits.
   • Picking up 340B pharmacy invoices weekly.
   • Delivering accounting mail to the post office as required.
5. Changes out Check In and Check Out cash boxes as required.
6. Other duties as assigned.
