Pastoral Associate II in Kansas City, Missouri at Visitation Catholic Church Kansas City

Serves as the on-site decision maker with matters of significance. Assumes multiple responsibilities for high level functions. Acts autonomously. Serves as a generalist, assisting the pastor in the coordination of a wide range of parish activities and programs in a mid-sized or large parish (over 700 households). At this level the classification operates rather independently, with only general oversight from the pastor. The classification provides multiple liaison functions and involves some supervision of staff and/or volunteers. The classification requires experience in pastoral work and a Master’s Degree in theology or related field, or equivalent education and experience.
