Senior Program Management Analyst (AUKUS)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Program Management Analyst (AUKUS) based in the United States.

This role supports high-impact defense initiatives focused on strengthening international partnerships and critical industrial capabilities.
The position plays a key role in coordinating complex programs involving government stakeholders, international partners, suppliers, and internal teams.
You will contribute to the successful execution of strategic submarine industrial base initiatives and AUKUS-related programs.
The role requires strong program management expertise, stakeholder coordination skills, and the ability to navigate highly regulated environments.
You will help drive alignment across schedules, budgets, risks, compliance requirements, and mission objectives.

Accountabilities:

The Senior Program Management Analyst will provide strategic and operational support to complex defense programs, ensuring successful execution while maintaining compliance, collaboration, and alignment with customer goals.

  • Support end-to-end execution of international defense programs, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, export regulations, and applicable government frameworks.
  • Serve as a key liaison between government customers, international partners, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to enable effective program delivery.
  • Develop and manage integrated master schedules, budgets, risk mitigation plans, and contract deliverables to maintain cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
  • Support Submarine Industrial Base (SIB) and AUKUS initiatives by collaborating with industry stakeholders to strengthen industrial capacity and workforce readiness.
  • Prepare executive-level briefings, program status updates, reports, and customer-facing documentation.
  • Monitor program performance, identify risks, recommend corrective actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate with engineering, legal, compliance, supply chain, and other internal teams throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Support workforce planning and staffing activities required to meet evolving program needs.
  • Travel periodically to customer and partner locations, including Washington, D.C., as required.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced program management professional with a strong background in defense acquisition, international programs, and regulated environments. They should combine analytical expertise with strong communication and leadership abilities.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Program Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience supporting defense acquisition, program management, submarine, shipbuilding, manufacturing, or related industries.
  • At least 5 years of experience supporting Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ITAR, EAR, AUKUS-related initiatives, and U.S. export control regulations.
  • Experience managing complex programs involving schedules, budgets, risk management, stakeholder coordination, and reporting.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with government customers, international partners, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
  • U.S. citizenship required due to government contract requirements.
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance or ability to obtain and maintain one.
  • Preferred experience supporting the U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Navy, NAVSEA, prime shipbuilders, defense suppliers, or industrial base initiatives.
  • PMP certification, prior military experience, or a master’s degree in a related discipline is preferred.
