Job Description

Account Executive - Existing Business

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Account Executive - Existing Business based in United States.

This is a full-cycle sales role focused on driving new revenue within an established book of business in a high-growth Software as a Service (SaaS) environment.
You will own the sales process from prospecting and discovery through product demonstrations, negotiation, and closing.
The role combines outbound pipeline generation, consultative selling, commercial strategy, and disciplined pipeline management.
You will engage practice owners and healthcare decision-makers, helping them identify operational challenges and understand the business value of modernizing their technology.
You will work closely with Sales Development, leadership, and cross-functional teams to maximize pipeline coverage and continuously improve sales execution.
Success requires a strong balance of hunter mentality, customer-focused consulting, process discipline, resilience, and accountability for measurable outcomes.
This opportunity is well suited to an ambitious sales professional who wants to sharpen their commercial skills, grow their earning potential, and thrive in a high-accountability culture.

Accountabilities:
  • Own the complete consultative sales cycle, including qualification, discovery, product demonstrations, negotiation, and closing.
  • Conduct structured discovery conversations to understand customer challenges, quantify business pain, establish value, and identify measurable business impact.
  • Deliver customized product demonstrations aligned with customer workflows, operational requirements, growth objectives, and revenue opportunities.
  • Generate outbound pipeline through phone, email, LinkedIn, video, and other appropriate prospecting channels.
  • Build and execute territory plans focused on the organization’s Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and highest-potential opportunities.
  • Partner with Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to maximize pipeline coverage, prospecting efficiency, and outbound performance.
  • Lead commercial conversations that help prospects understand the operational, financial, and clinical benefits of modernizing their practice management technology.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to practice owners and decision-makers by delivering an educational, business-focused sales process rather than simply presenting product features.
  • Help customers evaluate opportunities to improve operational efficiency, simplify their technology environment, increase revenue, and support future growth.
  • Navigate competitive evaluations by clearly communicating the total cost of ownership, operational leverage, scalability, and long-term business value of the proposed solution.
  • Represent the organization at relevant conferences, trade shows, and industry events to generate relationships and new business opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate and disciplined pipeline data in HubSpot, ensuring opportunities, stages, next steps, and forecasts remain current.
  • Participate consistently in pipeline reviews and deal strategy sessions with sales leadership.
  • Apply the MEDDPICC sales methodology to qualify opportunities, manage deal strategy, and support data-driven forecasting.
  • Share customer, market, and competitive intelligence with the broader team to strengthen positioning and improve the sales process.
  • Contribute to a high-accountability, high-performance sales culture and help develop repeatable outbound best practices as the sales organization scales.
  • Take full ownership of pipeline generation, sales activity, deal progression, and revenue outcomes while continuously identifying opportunities to improve personal and team performance.

Requirements:

  • 2–5+ years of outbound-driven SaaS sales experience, preferably within a growth-stage organization with limited resources and a strong emphasis on self-generated pipeline.
  • Experience in vertical SaaS, small and medium-sized business (SMB) SaaS, healthcare SaaS, or another relevant technology environment is strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to independently source pipeline and close deals with approximately $5,000–$50,000 in Annual Contract Value (ACV).
  • Demonstrated experience selling to owner-operators, SMB founders, practice owners, healthcare decision-makers, or comparable business leaders.
  • Experience managing a full-cycle sales process from outbound prospecting and qualification through discovery, demonstration, negotiation, and close.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot, Gong, Apollo.io, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or comparable sales technology platforms is a plus.
  • Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to uncover customer pain points, quantify business impact, and connect solutions to measurable outcomes.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to understand and communicate operational, financial, and growth considerations during customer conversations.
  • A hunter-farmer mindset, combining strong pipeline generation capabilities with the ability to build lasting customer relationships and establish trusted-advisor status.
  • Highly process-oriented, with strong discipline around pipeline management, forecasting, qualification, follow-up, and sales execution.
  • Strong accountability and coachability, with a willingness to receive feedback, continuously improve, and maintain high personal and professional standards.
  • Resilient and persistent, with the ability to maintain consistent prospecting and sales activity through challenging periods and changing market conditions.
  • Competitive and results-oriented, with a strong motivation to achieve and exceed measurable sales objectives.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where individual ownership, initiative, and execution are highly valued.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Sales Development, sales leadership, and other internal teams while independently managing a sales territory and pipeline.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary with earning potential aligned to sales performance and responsibilities.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Flexible paid time off (PTO) to support flexibility and work-life balance.
  • Remote-first work culture providing flexibility in how and where you work.
  • Opportunity to join a high-growth organization with an established product-market fit and an expanding outbound-led sales motion.
  • Access to sales coaching, leadership support, proven playbooks, and professional development opportunities.
  • Direct exposure to leadership in a high-visibility, low-bureaucracy environment.
  • Opportunity to work within a customer-focused, low-ego, builder-oriented culture where ownership and results are valued.
  • Strong emphasis on commercial excellence, accountability, continuous learning, and career growth.
  • Opportunity to build expertise in consultative SaaS sales while working with business owners and healthcare decision-makers.
  • Exposure to conferences, trade shows, competitive market intelligence, and a broad range of sales and business development activities.
