Job Description
Join an exciting team in business for over 50 years and is Western Canada's largest privately owned and operated full service vending company.
The Operations Support/Route Driver position is a key introductory role into Ryan's that involves:
- Providing operational support by working in the warehouse with accepting deliveries, pre-toting products, and preparing outbound orders.
- Servicing customer accounts within the Lower Mainland and surrounding areas - maintaining inventory, stocking machines, merchandising, diagnostics of machines and most importantly - providing excellent customer care.
Warehouse location: Port Coquitlam, BC
Hours of Work - full Time - 40 hours per week and regularly includes one of the two weekend days as part of the regular schedule
Starting salary range: 40,000 - 44,000 annually
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of warehouse and vehicles
- Driving a company Sprinter van safely around the city to service accounts
- Stocking and inventory of warehouse, pre-kit line, and customer accounts (vending/micro markets/office coffee)
- Recognizing proper quantities and type of products needed to fulfil orders and client locations
- Records transactions and inventories on company-provided electronic device; accountable for cash and product.
- Accountability, must be able to work with limited supervision. Excellent organization, time management skills and multi-tasking abilities.
- Good time management - ability to work in high volume environment
- Required repetitive lifting of product up to 50 pounds.
- Performs equipment troubleshooting and repairs. Must have mechanical aptitude.
- Focuses on continuous improvement of processes & efficiency to drive results and growth
- Handles customer issues in an efficient and professional manner.
- Communicates effectively with Management.
- Requires solid organizational and problem solving skills to produce quality work to meet tight schedules.
- Must be proactive and a self-starter going beyond specific job responsibilities to ensure goals are achieved or exceeded.
Must have a Class 5 license with clean driving extract. Credit and criminal background checks are mandatory. Forklift experience and experience working in a warehouse is as asset.
