Summary
The Human Resources Director at Eastern Nephrology Associates (ENA) is responsible for overseeing all HR functions across our multi-location nephrology practice. Reporting to the CEO, this role leads recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, performance management, and employee relations. The HR Director partners with leadership to enhance employee engagement, retention, and development, while ensuring compliance with HR regulations and supporting operational efficiency. This position serves as a trusted advisor to both leadership and staff, aligning HR initiatives with ENA’s values and goals.

Qualifications
- BA/BS in Business Administration, Human Resources, or Healthcare Administration required; MA/MS in Human Resources will be a plus
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a healthcare setting, with at least three (3) years in a Human Resources Management position.
- SHRM Certification preferred, but not required
- Experience with ADP or other payroll processing software a plus.
- HRIS implementation experience is a plus
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Required proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and regulations
- Thorough knowledge of human resource management principles and best practices
Supervisory Responsibilities : All facility employees and contract staff
Essential Functions:
- Partner with leadership to implement strategies focused on increasing employee engagement and retention
- Lead recruitment for administration and clinical staff
- Manage the employee onboarding and orientation process
- Facilitate employee benefits administration
- Provide guidance for employee relations
- Assist in the development and implementation of the performance management cycle for approximately 150 employees
- Oversee payroll processing
- Act as a liaison for regional supervisors and managers and support the operations team
- Lead employee training and development. This individual will serve as an employee advocate and as a resource for supervisors and staff regarding personnel-related issues
- Prepare reports for management to assist in strategic planning and decisions
- Provide support for FMLA/Disability process adherence
- Develop corporate plans for a variety of HR matters such as compensation, benefits, health and safety etc.
Work Environment
Work is normally performed in a typical business office environment. Car travel between practice offices and clinics required.
