Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working with aircraft maintenance records or in an aviation-related documentation role.
- Familiarity with FAA regulations and requirements related to aircraft logs and records.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software for record management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or higher in Aviation Maintenance, Aeronautical Science, or a related field.
- Experience with digital aircraft records management systems (e.g., AMOS, Ramco).
- Knowledge of Safety Management Systems (SMS) and quality assurance processes.
- Previous experience working in a commercial or military aviation environment.
- Certification related to aircraft maintenance or records management.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update aircraft logs and records in accordance with FAA regulations and company policies.
- Review and verify maintenance and repair documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate with maintenance personnel to ensure timely and accurate recording of all aircraft activities.
- Prepare and organize documentation for regulatory audits and inspections.
- Identify discrepancies or missing information in records and work with relevant teams to resolve issues promptly.
- Ensure secure storage and proper handling of sensitive aircraft documentation.
- Assist in the development and implementation of record-keeping procedures and best practices.
- Support the transition to digital record-keeping systems and ensure data integrity during migration.
